Multiple news agencies have indicated that health officials have been focusing on coming up with laws and enforcing existing rules in order to lower the rate of child deaths linked to auto accidents nationwide.

The reports indicate that at this moment, medical facilities are required to provide parents with detailed information on car safety, car seats and booster seats in order to help parents to prevent injuries in the event of an accident.

Law enforcement agencies are providing training to some officers in order to create a body of trained safety technicians who will be teaching parents across the country about car safety, safety seat installation, maintenance and fitting.

Children who are 4 feet, 9 inches tall or shorter, age 8 and younger should always be properly secured in a car safety restraining seat or booster seat.
