The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall along Nissan for all units of the 2012 and 2013 Altima vehicles over a possible issue with the vehicle’s transverse link and power steering rack bolts, which may have not been properly torqued during the manufacturing process.
To prevent accidents and keep drivers from experiencing a loss of vehicle control, Nissan issued this recall that affects 13,919 vehicles in North America.
The company along the federal agency asked consumers with the vehicle to be warned that this issue must be repaired at an authorized dealer. All repairs will be performed for free.
