Multiple news agencies have revealed that the new 2012 Volkswagen Beetle is being reviewed. According to several reports, this is a vehicle that has great handling but suffers because of its sub-standard power.

The car has a fuel efficient “Drive” mode as well as a more powerful “Sport” mode, according to the experts. For what the car lacks in space and speed (although the little vechicle does have 170 horsepower), one would expect great mileage, but tests marked the Beetle at just 21.6 mpg. A disappointment.

The new Beetle is best left to drivers looking for a compact car that boosts a little more power than its competition – as long as they don’t mind some sacrifices when it comes to being economical.
