2012 Volkswagen Passat SE May Disappoint

To be more competitive within its mid-size sedan class, the price for the 2012 Volkswagen Passat SE has been cut by $7,000, according to a series of news agencies.

Yet a price cut does not necessarily mean that any reduction in features or performance will occur. According to recent road test reports, this well-equipped and polished vehicle is still just as competent as it used to be when its price was $7,000 more expensive.

The seats are reportedly comfortable, the trunk is spacious, and the controls are designed to be easily found by the drivers and passengers. On the downside, the horsepower offered in this particular vehicle is some of the lowest in its class, which could serve as a disappointment to some.
