2013 Chevy Spark Earns Great Safety Ratings In Recent Crash Tests
Recent articles reported that the new 2013 Chevy Spark went through a series of crash tests performed by the Korean New Car Assessment Program (KNCAP) that revealed that the minicar is one of the safest picks currently available in the market.
Frontal crash tests, side crash tests and offset frontal tests were carried out and according to KNCAP, GM has designed a vehicle with safety in mind first, which might explain why the small and economic vehicle scored so high in these tests.
Also according by KNCAP, Spark scored a four-star rating in a pedestrian safety test, which raises the bar when it comes to minicar and compact vehicle safety.
