2014 Forester Recalled By Subaru, NHTSA Reports

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that the Forester models for 2014 hat were manufactured between January 2013 and March 2013 were equipped with certain floor mats that could curl if exposed to heat.

In the process of heating, the mat could pose a hazard since it may curl, causing the component to block access to the pedals. The driver may find it difficult to slow the car down or accelerate, increasing the risk of a potential accident.

The company has stated that affected cars will have the defective mats completely replaced for free. About 10,137 units of the model were affected by this recall. You may follow this link to read more about this recall.
