National Child Passenger Safety Week Celebrated With Seat Checkpoints
In Pennsylvania, the State Police and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation are encouraging parents to be aware of the importance of child passenger safety.
They are combining forces with safety groups to offer free seat checkpoints statewide. The checkpoints are meant to educate parents on the proper use of these devices. This program follows a similar educational project that was held last year.
