Authorities To Provide Free Car Safety Seat Advice

According to several news agencies, the RSA will be holding a free event to teach parents how to pick the right kind of car safety seats for their children.

The reports show that parents, unfortunately, are not entirely sure of how to safely pick the best fit and install the restraint system correctly. According to a recent study, three out of four parents or caregivers are unaware they must fit their child’s car seat properly. The failure to fit the car safety seat may lead to serious injuries and even fatalities in the event of an accident, reports show. The event will be held near a supermarket on Sunday and all parents in the region are asked to participate.

According to a Road Safety officers, parents are not aware of the risk associated with poorly fitted or installed restraint systems and because of that, safety officers will be present to offer the education and instruction necessary to ensure the children in the Clare region are safe while riding with their parents.
