GM Recalls 2012 Models Over An Air Bag Issue

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that all units of the 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze and Sonic are being recalled.

According to the official reports, General Motors decided to recall these vehicles after it was noted that the side frontal air bag in these vehicles may not deploy in the event of an accident due to an issue that keeps the shorting bar maintaining contact with the air bag terminals intermittently.

Since this issue could increase the risk of injury, the company has reported that all affected vehicles will be repaired for free at authorized dealers. If you or a loved one owns any of these vehicles, contact the manufacturer or follow this link for the full recall announcement.

To ignore a recall announcement regarding a vehicle you own could pose a serious injury risk to you and your loved ones. If you have any questions or doubts regarding this recall announcement, address your concerns to the automaker at once.
