Blue Bird Recalls Transit Buses Over Accident Risk
Multiple news agencies have reported that Blue Bird Corporation has issued a recall for several units of the Ultra LF transit buses over a possible issue with the steering gear and the bus frame bracket.
According to the official statement issued by the company with the help of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, these vehicles were equipped with brackets that could develop cracks. These brackets maintain the bus frame and steering gear attached. If cracks are developed, a crash can occur because the driver may lose steering control.
To prevent accidents and keep drivers and passengers safe, the company has issued this recall right away.
