Crash Risk Prompts Triumph Motorcycle Recall

A series of news agencies have indicated that several units of motorcycles manufactured by Triumph Motorcycles are being recalled over a possible issue associated with the vehicle’s detent spring.

According to the firm, these motorcycles were equipped with detent springs that may have been built incorrectly or that may have been installed incorrectly during assembly.

This issue could cause the transmission in these vehicles to shift out of gear while the motorcycle is still in use, increasing the risk of an accident since the rider may lose control over the motorcycle.

The affected motorcycles should be fully repaired at authorized dealers for free, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
