NHTSA Issues Recall Along Ford That Affects The Lincoln MKZ Model
Yet another vehicle model is being recalled by Ford, reports show. According to the news, Ford decided to recall 2013 Lincoln MKZ after it was noted that a problem with certain engine block heater cords could eventually pose a serious electric shock risk to users.
The company has stated that the issue is linked to the engine block heater, which was equipped with cords that could become bent under certain temperatures, increasing the potential for an electric shock since the cords could crack unexpectedly.
To prevent potential incidents, the company will have any defective cord replaced for fully functional ones.
