ANCAP Reveals Crash Test Ratings Of Several Used Vehicles

The Australian New Car Assessment Program has been testing several older vehicles and although most of the models tested achieved four or five stars when it comes to safety, most vehicles end up losing points when it comes to crashes involving bigger and heavier vehicles.

According to the news, the safest vehicles for passengers, pedestrians and other drivers was the BMW X5 SUV. All of the 2001 though 2008 models have rated highly in crash tests while the most dangerous were the 1980s Daihatsu HiJet.
