There have been reports of people leaving their car running in the garage because they simply forgot it was still turned on. Since these electric cars do not have a motor that’s making noise, drivers may forget that their vehicles are on. Combine this with the keyless entry aspect, which allows people even more freedom while operating their vehicles, and you have about one in every three EV owners admitting that they have left the car running and walked away.
