Audi has unveiled what a series of media outlets have been talking about: the new A3 e-tron Concept is finally here.

The reports show that this new model comes with a turbocharged engine that is paired with an electric model. This new vehicle is capable of getting to a top speed of 80 mph. According to the company, its fuel-efficient engine can reach 158 mpg in combined fuel consumption. Gauges show drivers details on trip data, battery status and energy usage in order to keep the driver informed on when he or she is supposed to charge the vehicle again.

This model’s battery pack is placed under the rear seats while the fuel tank is pushed back. Its smaller size makes the placement much easier. Although a U.S.-market launch hasn’t been unveiled so far, the company has reported that the new electric hybrid vehicle will be available in Europe in 2014.
