(The Murray, et al. v Mercedes-Benz Fairfield, et al. Lawsuit Settled in May, 2013)
In the Murray v Mercedes-Benz Fairfield lawsuits, the Vachon Law Firm represented the Plaintiffs (a husband and wife from Manteca, California) in a lawsuit alleging that Mercedes-Benz of Fairfield had sold them an accident-damaged used automobile (a 2007 Toyota Tundra) without disclosing the known damage. The lawsuit also alleged that the dealership had sold the Toyota Tundra for more than its advertised price and at a location at which it was not licensed to sell automobiles. Mercedes-Benz of Fairfield denied all liability and wrongdoing when it answered in the lawsuit.
In May, 2013, the parties reached a mutually-acceptable settlement in which neither the Plaintiffs nor the Defendant made any admissions regarding the merits of the allegations. A request for dismissal was filed in the lawsuit on May 2, 2013.
