According to several new agencies, drivers with smartphones or navigation devices equipped with the Bluetooth technology could be broadcasting traffic reports and information without even knowing what is going on.

That is due thanks to the implementation of traffic sensors that employ the use of the Bluetooth technology in order to obtain information regarding the traffic. Traffic officials hope to obtain the info they need to implement necessary changes to the road in order to make them safer.

Whether the driver is aware of the exchange of information or not, it may already be occurring. Auto technology will soon evolve enough to make vehicles able to communicate with others in order to warn drivers about potential hazards on the road.
