BMW Recalls S 1000 RR Motorcycles, NHTSA Reports

BMW has issued a recall for several units of motorcycles manufactured between September 2011 and December 2012.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued the recall announcing that all units of the 2012 and 2013 S 1000 RR motorcycles could fall unexpectedly because the side-stand mounting plate in these vehicles could come detached in case the bolts become loose. According to the firm, this issue could happen due to a manufacturing fault.

To prevent incidents and keep riders safe, the company has issued this recall promptly.
