Multiple reports have showed that drivers have a new concern: keeping their pets safe while inside of their vehicles.

A NewsX video on YouTube explaining car safety belts for dogs profiles a man who has two dogs that serve as his surrogate family. The video shows how active dogs present in the vehicle can distract the driver. After showing the dog owner how to install the dog safety belt and secure his dog to the vehicle using the vehicle’s safety harness, they all go out to for a ride to test the results.
