An event to promote safety and make car owners aware of the risks associated with the lack of preventive maintenance will be held Saturday.

According to the news, the Louisburg Library will be organizing the event that will bring several safety advocates and technicians to perform several auto checks while teaching car owners about the importance of keeping a vehicle well maintained in order to prevent accidents and protect their families.

Car Safety sessions will be held to teach parents about the proper usage of child restraint systems and how to safely purchase a vehicle.
