According to multiple news agencies, certain Police departments hold car safety seat checks for free weekly.

Reports indicate that the Lilburn Police Department offers a free car safety seat check every week for parents who are willing to learn more about how to safely install and maintain their car safety restraint systems.

The checks are held between the hours of 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. every Thursday and parents are urged to participate to understand the risks associated with poorly installed car safety seats.
