Because vehicle accidents are one of the leading causes of death among young children, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention is hoping to bring a great awareness of this issue to those that have children.
They are hosting a child passenger safety week in hopes to make motorists aware of how important it is to have kids buckled up in properly latched safety seats so that in the event of an accident, children are less likely to be injured.
The company FAMILY Inc. and Safe Kids Loess Hills will be hosting this event during the period between September 16 and 22 by conducting a car seat checkup event for families and their children.
