A free car seat checkup will be hosted in Terre Haute on Saturday, October 6th, according to the news.

The car seat safety check will be held to ensure and promote safety and keep the number of child injuries and fatalities associated with auto crashes down. The seats will be inspected by certified technicians who will check to see if the seats are properly installed and secured.

Parents should bring their children as well, so that the technicians have a better understanding of whether the seat is compatible for the child or not.
