According to a series of news agencies, John Evans Manufacturing Co. decided to issue a recall promptly after learning that a series of chassis and trailer models could pose a crash risk to drivers and passengers because of an improperly torqued series of wheel lug nuts.
These components could fail while the vehicle is in use, causing the wheels to come detached as a result. That could increase the risk of a potential accident. To prevent serious consequences and avoid injuries, the company has reported that affected consumers will be notified promptly. Affected vehicles should be inspected at authorized dealers where any type of repair should be performed for free.
Affected models include the 2013 and 2014 Cheetah Chassis. You can follow this link to read the full report and learn more about this issue if you believe you were affected.
