Child Safety Seats Must Be Used Properly, Authorities Say
The South Carolina Department of Public Safety is reportedly issuing a reminder for parents of small children to make sure that the seat their child is riding in is installed properly.
This month, according to the news, is National Child Safety Month and as a part of the awareness campaign, the SCDPS is offering checkpoints where parents can have their child seats inspected. The SCDPS will have multiple locations that offer inspections and are even running a billboard campaign to remind parents to help ensure their children’s safety.
