Several news agencies have reported that the number of truck-related accidents that turn out to be fatal has been dropping in the past years.

According to the California Highway Patrol, this is due to the fact that troopers have been working to enforce safety regulations and education.

Now, the CHP will be combining forces with other agencies across the country, Mexico and Canada to launch the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s Operation Safe Driver event that will occur until October 20^th. According to reports, the operation organizers hope to target drivers who are being aggressive and engaging in an unsafe driving behavior.
