Chrysler Recalls 2013 Durango For Not Complying With Federal Standards

Chrysler is recalling all units of 2013 model of Durango due to the presence of an incorrect capacity information label.

These vehicles come with labels that overstate the seating capacity in these cars, which is a failure to comply with federal requirements. Since these vehicles could be filled over their capacities, occupants may be exposed to a crash risk since a tire failure could occur.

To prevent incidents, the company has stated that consumers with the recalled vehicles will receive replacement occupant capacity labels in the mail.

Consumers may also choose to visit a dealer to have the replacement label installed by the staff for free.
