Chrysler Recalls Several Ram, Jeep And Even Dodge Vehicles

The Chrysler Group has recently issued a recall for several units of certain Ram pickup truck models and Dodge Challengers and Chargers as well as Jeep Patriot and Liberty models over multiple issues in the past months.

According to the media outlets covering these recalls, the first major recall involved over 120,000 units of Dodge Challenger, Chargers and Chrysler 300 from the 2011 and 2012 year due to a wiring issue that could cause the airbag lights to become illuminated unexpectedly. Another major recall involved over 61,000 units of the Jeep Liberty and Dodge Nitro, which are vehicles that were known to have been equipped with parts that may drop onto the drive shaft, increasing the risk of a potential issue since the shaft could break.

Other 20,532 units of the Compass SUV and Jeep Patriot models form the 2012 model year were also recalled over a problem with the fuel tank, which could increase the risk of an unexpected stalling problem due to a fuel flow interruption.

Chrysler also reported that a recall linked to 6,500 units of Dodge Ram pickup trucks from the 2013 model has also been issued. The problem with these vehicles is related to the brakes, which could increase the risk of a possible accident.

The reports also show that the 2013 Dodge Dart has also been recalled over a problem with the brakes. These vehicles were reportedly equipped with a wrong part, which could pose a risk to drivers since the parking brake may not function properly.
