Some of the most fuel efficient subcompacts available today include the Scion iQ and xD (MT), according to a recent report issued by the Consumer Reports.
According to the article, Consumer Reports decided to gather details concerning several models of subcompacts and how fuel efficient they are in order to come up with a list of the most economical small vehicles of 2012.
Reports indicate that the Mazda2 Sport (MT), Honda Fit Sport, Ford Fiesta SE and SES, Hyundai Accent SE, Toyota Yaris and Chevrolet Spark have also made into the list of most fuel-efficient subcompacts. These models are reportedly capable of getting anywhere from 20 to 40 mpg.
