Consumers Are Worried About In-Car Internet Access
Drivers like new car technology but also demonstrate to have conflicting attitudes regarding the duel between what they want and what they need in a vehicle.
Although consumers seem to expect more connectivity, three-fourths of car owners claim they are also worried that connective and wireless technology is too much of a distraction. Consumers are also concerned that new technology is a threat to privacy, since certain devices and systems could end up giving manufacturers and perhaps insurance companies too much information about where and how they drive.
Despite these concerns, about sixty percent of consumers said new technology made driving more fun and even safer.
