Dodge has just reported that the company is recalling 1,449 units of its 2013 Durango vehicles. Affected units were manufactured between April 2012 and July 2012.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported that the air bag assembly in these vehicles needs to be corrected on the passenger side. An issue with these items could lead to the failure of deployment of the air bags and according to the firm, this could cause injury or death in a crash.

The defect will be repaired free of charge.
