Experts Say You Should Avoid These Popular Vehicles

Some popular models can be somewhat fuel-efficient and even reasonably priced but experts encourage potential car owners to avoid overlooking certain distinguishable qualities found in some popular vehicles before your new purchase.

One of the best sellers that unfortunately falls short in interior and ride quality is the popular Honda Civic. According to experts, the new models may lead drivers to feel like these once so competent small vehicles simply turned out to become worse over time. Drivers complain of the Civic’s noisy cabin and faint steering. Specialists claim that the Mazda 3, Subaru Impreza and the Hyundai Elantra are more competent options that fall into the same category of vehicles.

Another popular ride that may not live up to expectations is the Jeep Liberty new model. Some claim that this SUV’s stony looks may represent the vehicle’s rugged, undefined driving experience. Drivers who happen to use this vehicle in the city claim the vehicle acts in an unnerved way that could be partially due to the SUV’s uncoordinated steering. The Jeep Liberty became famous for achieving one of the lowest road-test scores this year, leading experts to urge car owners to stay away from this model.

In spite of its fuel efficiency, the Toyota Prius C could also turn out to be one of the worst choices you could make. Experts claim that this new Prius model is a subcompact that lacks the quality of its predecessor, the Prius hatchback. Drivers may experience a stiff ride and become angered at the slow acceleration power of this less expensive Prius. Honda Civics ended up scoring much higher in recent tests, which should be enough of a sign you should look the other way if encountered by one of these unimpressive models.

One of the best-selling minivans in the United States, the Dodge Grand Caravan, also fails to live up to expectations when it comes to power-equipment quality. Some of these vehicles also experience sliding-door troubles too early on, which could indicate that the material used in the assembly of these vehicles is simply not as good as it used to be. During testing, this model also did not match the quality of its competitors like the Toyota Sienna.

More vehicles didn’t make the cut when experts compared test results. To avoid choosing abruptly, do your homework before purchasing a car and carefully go over the reviews to know more about the vehicles that interest you.
