Fiat Sets Pricing For All-Electric 500E Model

Multiple news agencies and other resources have indicated that the all-electric 2013 Fiat 500E has been unveiled and so has its price.

The company has recently reported in a recent announcement that the all-electric vehicle will start at $32,500 as soon as it’s available in California. Also according to the company, the vehicle will only go on sale later this summer.

The company has reported the vehicle will be available for lease. At this moment, the EPA estimates show that the all-electric Fiat 500E could get about 87 miles per charge. Drivers looking for a vehicle that is good for driving around town, this kind of range shouldn’t be a bad deal. Cargo capacity could also be an issue to potential 500E owners due to the compromised interior and cargo spaces.

According to the firm, the all-electric vehicle could end up costing much less due to tax rebates, which would make it $200 cheaper than Fiat’s gas-powered equivalent.

As an attorney, I’m glad to learn that new technology and more options are being offered to California drivers who are willing to purchase an all-electric compact.
