Ford Recalls Transit Connect Over Crash Hazards
Certain models of Ford Transit Connect Vehicles are being recalled, according to a recent report issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
According to the report, all units of the 2011 and 2012 Transit Connect vehicles are being recalled because the wiper arms present in these vehicles might not be properly riveted, and this could cause incomplete clearing of the windshield and a possible detachment of the wiper arm.
If this occurs while the vehicle is in use, it would reduce a driver’s visibility, and possibly lead to a crash. Ford will be notifying owners of these vehicles and fixing the problem, free of charge.
