According to several news agencies, a free car safety seat check and giveaway will be hosted in Lowndes County.

Several local authorities have been coming up with events to teach parents how to safely install and fit a car safety seat or booster seat in order to keep their children safe in the event of an accident. According to the news, about 150 car safety seats will be available to low-income families in order to help families to promote safety to all members of the family.

Parents are being urged to sign up before the event since there are only a limited number of seats available to the community.
