Multiple news agencies reported that in Silverton, New Jersey, firefighters are offering free child car seat inspections to parents in the region.

The inspectors helping parents with their children’s car safety seat reportedly went through forty-hour classes on child car seat safety and are fully prepared to help parents to properly install their car safety seats.

According to the news, few parents have safety seats installed correctly, but sometimes, latches may become loose. Officers recommend motorists to not pad the seat with anything that did not come with the product and to keep their children safe by participating in the event.
