Multiple news agencies revealed that gas prices all around the nation are up this week compared to last week. For the nation as a whole, reports show that the average price of gasoline is up 12 cents from this point last year.

California experienced the largest increase of any region; it’s up 23 cents from last week. Those in the Midwest region, however, are much more fortunate. News articles show that the price there increased by only 2 cents from last week.
