GM Recalls 41,000 Models Over Fire And Fuel Pump Leak Risks

General Motors has recently recalled nearly 41,000 vehicles located in warm-weather states such as Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Oklahoma, Nevada and Texas.

There is concern that certain plastic fuel system parts may break or crack abruptly, which could cause a fire. Vehicles recalled include all 2007 through 2009 models of the Chevrolet Cobalt sedans, 2007 through 2009 Pontiac G5 sedans, and all units of the 2007 models of Chevrolet Equinox SUVs, Pontiac Torrent SUVs and even Saturn Ion sedans.
