GM Recalls More Units Of Chevy Malibus, Saturn Auras And Pontiac G6
GM has recently issued yet another recall for vehicles that may have been affected by a transmission issue, according to several news agencies.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a statement saying that all units of the 2008 through 2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 along all units of the 2007 through 2010 of the Saturn Aura vehicles have been equipped with transmission cables that could fracture or separate, which could then lead the shifter to be changed to the PARK position in spite of the fact that the transmission gear is not in ‘PARK’.
If this happens, the vehicle could roll away if the driver places the shifter in the Park position without activating the emergency brakes.
