GM Recalls More Vehicles Over Transmission Issues
General Motors has issued a recall for over 420,000 cars, according to several news reports.
The models involved in the recall include the 2007 through 2010 Saturn Aura and the 2008 through 2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6.
The cars have been found to have a problem with the transmission shift cable, which could break abruptly and cause the parked vehicle to begin rolling. GM is notifying the owners to make them aware of the problem and offer car owners a part replacement.
