General Motors decided to issue a recall announcement concerning all units of the 2003 and 2004 GMC Savana and Chevrolet Express models.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, this recall was issued due to a faulty fuel filler neck. Due to an issue with the design, road contaminants may become trapped near the filler pipe, if this occurs, it could lead to rusting and even corrosion.

Owners should contact Chevrolet right away to ask about how they should proceed to have their vehicles repaired.
