Honda has recently issued a recall for all units of the 2012 Honda CR-V and 2013 Acura ILX vehicles, according to a series of news articles.

The recall has been issued due to the discovery of the presence of a faulty cable in the door handle of these models of vehicles. If this cable becomes loose unexpectedly, it could cause the door to become latched improperly, which could pose a serious accident hazard to drivers.

Dealers will replace the front door latch assemblies free of charge.
