Hybrids such as the Toyota Prius have been available to the public and manufactured at a fast pace for a few years now so questions about durability and reliability are now finally easy to answer.

So far, no real major problems were reported with these vehicles, especially if compared to the issues associated with their gas guzzling counterparts. The only annoyance specialists have noticed with these hybrids was the replacement of batteries, but most owners felt the savings in gas more than made up for it.
