Several articles have been outlining the safety concerns that some parents have concerning new inflatable seat belt technology.

Originally designed with the safety of all backseat passengers in mind, namely children and the elderly who are highly susceptible to being injured in collisions, this new technology is causing concerns with regards to how it will affect the performance of booster and car seats.

According to the news, these concerns are not due to specific issues or accidents but rather a lack of knowledge on whether or not the booster and car seats will be damaged therefore affecting their performance.
