Injury Hazard Prompts Ford E-150, 250 And 350 Vehicle Recall
Several vehicles have been recalled over an issue with wheelchair lifts, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
According to the reports issued by the federal agency, all units of the 2006 through 2010 Ford E-150, E-350 and E-250 vehicles were equipped with wheelchair lifts that may experience a premature wear, which could lead to an issue with the lift’s roll stop. While a wheelchair occupant is being suspended by the lift, the roll stop could become misaligned unexpectedly, which could cause the wheelchair user to roll off the platform and fall.
To prevent injuries the company decided to issue this recall right away.
