Injury Risk Prompts Recall Of Aerial Devices For Trucks

Multiple news agencies have indicated that Terex South Dakoka, Inc. has issued a recall for all units of the 1998 through 2005 OM Aerial Devices after it was noted that the elbow in these devices may develop cracks over potential fatigues.

These cracks could cause the leveling arm to experience a failure, which could ultimately lead to an unexpected move, increasing a potential injury risk. Operators of the truck or other bystander could be injured as a result. According to several reports, these vehicles will have the aerial devices inspected for free and repaired promptly also for free at authorized dealers.
