Jaguar Land Rover Issues Second Recall In A Week

This may not be the best time of the year for Jaguar Land Rover.

According to the news, Jaguar Land Rover has issued a recall for all units of 2013 XF vehicles because the engines in these cars were equipped with fuel pumps with electronic modules that may not function properly.

If these modules do not work properly, the fuel pump may fail to pump gas, which could result in a fuel starvation what would cause the engine to suddenly stall. The electronic module failure could lead to a loss of power-assisted steering and power-assisted braking, which could increase the risk of an accident.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that the company will be notifying all affected owners of these vehicles to have the additional wiring harness that will prevent the problem from occurring installed for free.

Affected consumers are encouraged to have this issued promptly repaired before accidents are reported. Many accidents are caused because of a defective vehicular part. To prevent issues and possible accidents, stay on top of all car recalls to ensure your safety and the safety of your loved ones.
