Multiple news agencies have reported that Chrysler may soon be developing the 300 model with a diesel engine.

After Jeep came up with its diesel-powered Grand Cherokee and Ram 1500, Chrysler reported it has been working on a project that would make the Chrysler 300 model available with the diesel-powered engine. The company is currently assessing how feasible would the option be, since not all consumers would be willing to pay extra for the diesel engine.

Diesel engines could be more powerful and efficient than gas engines, which could be enough of reasons to make drivers opt to switch their gas-powered cars for diesel-powered vehicles.
