Team Kia of El Cajon Settles Lawsuit
The Vachon Law Firm is pleased to announce the settlement of the San Diego County lawsuit Hans, et al. v. JKC Palm Springs Automotive, Inc., et al. (San Diego County Superior Court Case No. 37-2011-00071395). The defendant in this lawsuit operates the El Cajon, California car dealership “Team Kia of El Cajon.” The plaintiffs were a local San Diego, California couple who were represented by the Vachon Law Firm. The settlement, which became final in March 9 2012, requires Team Kia of El Cajon to pay the plaintiffs’ attorney’s fees and costs.
Allegations Against Team Kia of El Cajon
In the complaint, the plaintiff alleged that Team Kia of El Cajon falsified the down payment amounts in a Kia Sedona purchase contract in order to get plaintiffs financed for a purchase that otherwise would not have qualified for financing.
