Mazda 6 Under Investigation Over Door Failure

According to several news agencies, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has decided to look into Mazda 6 cars because the agency has received complaints related to the vehicle’s doors not closing properly.

The federal agency has stated that about 39,000 cars would be affected if the agency found an issue that would lead to a recall.

Official reports indicate that at least four complaints associated with the doors not latching properly were received including one case that involved the door opening unexpectedly as the vehicle was in use.

If an issue associated with these vehicles is identified, the company would have to issue a recall.
